All right. Hello, my name is Chris Powell. I am Western Washington University's Canvas admin. And for this video, I wanted to talk about a unique call I got from a professor whom I hold in high regard, asking how they could access a media submission from a student in their assignment.

Download Student New Media Player Submissions?

Unlike submitted “paper” files for assignments, media recordings with the new media player in Canvas doesn’t have a very noticeable link to download student submissions, whether they be audio or video recordings.

I happened to spot a way that teachers could get access to the actual file of the student submission…but it might involve using “please?”
