I recently was made aware of a warning message in the “preview” window in Canvas courses when students select some files. The warning message seems to be occuring for files greater than 25 megabytes (MB).
Wanted to share what I’m seeing with my Canvas Insiders, should you or any of your colleagues receive messages from students who are having issues viewing large file previews in a Canvas course.
At the time of this published post, there wasn’t much on the worldwide Instructure Canvas Community online support forums pertaining to large file warning messages, nor many results in a web search.
